WHO WE ARE

Our Goal: Stronger Social Cohesion, Across Canada!

Cohesia is a non-profit organization that works to strengthen social cohesion across Canada. Through our research, state-of-the-art human resource tools and events, we create awareness, dialogue and action so that everyone in Canada can feel heard, valued and that they belong across the country both personally and professionally.

Land Acknowledgement

At Cohesia, we recognize that our services, our team and our network depend on the territories of the nations that offer us a physical space on which indispensable connections are established both in person and at a distance.

Our head office is located on the traditional territory of the Mi’kmaq people. This territory is covered by the Peace and Friendship Treaties, originally signed in 1725 by the Wolastoqey (Maliseet), Mi’kmaq and Peskotomuhkati peoples and the British Crown. We also recognize that our work has an impact on lands that are still home to many First Nations, Inuit and Maliseet peoples.

Annual Reports

More than a mission: strengthening social cohesion is a commitment we made several years ago, first in New Brunswick as Dialogue NB, and since January 31 at the national level. Below you will find Dialogue NB’s annual reports for the period 2018-2022. Throughout the pages, you will see our programs and services evolve and develop, to better meet the needs, on the 3 domains of social cohesion (Sense of belonging, Social relations, Focus on the common good).
